CNN talked briefly about the World Finals during their "Things to do this weekend" segment. I was pleased to see it highlighted, but giggled when the reporter pronounced JB's name "MAW-nee" and then said something about getting on a bull and hanging in there "for a few minutes".

Very Happy

That would have been fun to see. Nice to know they have mentioned it!

Well, I thought the 1st round was great overall, a lot of great rides and high scores and most importantly no injuries.

My hightlight of the night was Mike Lee doing his celebration flip and having the bull running after him from behind. I was sitting up in my chair yelling "the bull's coming, the bull's coming". Obviously Mike did not hear me... Shocked So glad it only grazed him in his vest. He has been run over enough this year and I am hoping he has a great finals!

Biggest disappointment in round 1 was the fact that Kody had such a crappy bull. Twisted Evil Kody did an amazing job. Laughing I just think Kody should have gotten a re-ride. The bull definitely did not perform as well as the other bulls and that does consitute a re-ride. Oh well, I am just thrilled that Kody rode and he really worked hard for it too and didn't seem to be in pain.

Excited to hear the results of the draft and to see the second round tomorrow night. Sure don't like having to wait until Sunday to see the last 15 rides though. Guess I will have to check the results on the website.

Love the first round! our game night people tried to interrupt my watching. my MOTHER, even turned of the TV when i had stepped out during a commerical break *gasp* i turned it RIGHT back on!! everyone was eating and gabbing anyways so i finished out the round.

I notice that round 2 was spilt, BLAH, i don't like that!! anyone know what Versus just can't keep it? so we can actually SEE the rides??

I would say that in order to get CBS to cover it they had to give them an "exclusive" that would draw viewers. If you show it all on Versus the night before than you've cut your viewing audience for CBS Sunday. These are strictly business decisions to see if they can get PBR out to audiences that would not normally tune in or have no access to Versus.

I followed the action last night on the Live Photos page of the PBR website and although it wasn't TV coverage I found it interesting and liked the fact that it was basically real time .

Can't wait till next weekend when I get to see an event in person.

lol - well I am hoping we will not have a problem here. We didn't last time, but I am still really unhappy that they did this. I did not enjoy at all staring at the computer and the website was down most of the time so I had to follow on twitter to.

Kody still doing his job and riding his bulls in style!!! He got a 45.25 rider score tonight. I just hope he can get enough bull the next couple of rounds to get a higher score to finish higher for bonus points. Friday night's bull really put him in a hole. But I am sure he will ride out of it!!!

Congrats to Pete for his awesome ride on Bones!!!
