Bobby, as Jim and chevylady said, welcome to the forums...it's nice to have a regular contact to come to when we have questions.
Hope to see you at some events sooner or later!

| Thanks James. Since I have started, I have been to every event on the BFTS with the exception of Dallas and Fresno. I believe the only event I wont be present during the remainder of the season is Springfield. Make sure you come by and say hello! |

I want to chime in with thanks for stopping by and answering our questions, Bsponheimer. Sometimes we have felt a bit adrift here, and it's nice to know someone of "TPTB" is checking in. _________________

| Bobby, so tell us a bit about yourself. You're a guy, right? What did you do before you worked for PBR? What made you interested in working with the fan club area here? How are you enjoying the PBR events? Any wild or cool stories yet? (If not, I can tell ya some good ones at the finals, as I've witnessed a few "wild" things over the years, LOL!) Is there any chance of getting a programmer to work on the site here and make some changes? Or is there a way to get an administrator password so we can make the changes (I've administrated and moderated a few sites myself, so I know basically how those things work). When will the finals activities be announced? If you see Ty around, please tell him I'ld like to be able to talk to him at the finals for a few minutes to say "hi" if he's not too busy (or else ask if he goes to NFR in Dec. and I can meet up with him there). |

| Bobby, also, can the PBR consider doing more contests that could apply to the vast majority of the fans? Like random weekly contests and random monthly contests. |

Yes, I am a guy... or else I would pronounce my name Bobbi or Bobbie. I actually came to the PBR from the NHL. I worked in the areas of PR, Community Relations, and Fan Development. Fan Development is my specialty and passion, which made it a perfect fit to come in and contribute to the Fan Club. I absolutely love doing what I am doing... I enjoy traveling to all of our events, meeting all the Fan Club members, putting together our on-site activities, etc. I have seen quite a bit of craziness on the tour, but who hasn't? Like I have said previously, we here at the Fan Club do not have access to the programming of our site, only some of the content. Finals activities will be announced in the near future. As soon as everything is set (location, dates, times) then they will be posted. All PBR departments have things going on, and we need to make sure nothing overlaps, and everything gels.... As far as Ty goes, we here at the office rarely see him. He will be at Finals, and I suggest you talk to him there when you see him. |

| Thank you Bobby, looking forward to meeting ya at the finals. I hear ya on all that you are saying. Cool background that you had with the NHL. What did ya think of the Blackhawks winning the Stanley Cup this year? |

I loved watching them win. I worked with Coach Quenneville in Colorado and he was one of my all-time favorite people. He deserved to hold the cup up at the end of the season. |

Very cool. One of my friends got to touch the cup a couple hours after the players just got back after their flight home from their final game. He also went to the big rally in Chicago. |

The activities schedule for the PBR Finals is posted at:
http://pbrnow.com/files/2010_World_Finals_Schedule.pdf
Bobby, I'm actually kinda disappointed in the schedule so far for a couple of reasons, like the fact that the first "meet and greet" is on Wednesday at 10am (at TI), before the first Finals bull riding event has even started. I don't even fly in until a few hours after the meet and greet will have started, and I can't imagine that most fans will even be arriving in Vegas by that time, so they'll miss that too. I'm also very disappointed that the Fan Zone & Marketplace is being moved from Mandalay Bay to the Hard Rock Hotel this year as it is off the main strip. It has been at Mandalay Bay for years and years, what happened, why did they switch locations?
Questions: Is there any kind of a bus or shuttle being provided to get to Hard Rock Hotel from the main strip or from the other host hotels? What is a VIP Pre Party? Are there going to be any special activities like rider luncheons, film screenings or something? Are the buckle presentations at Mandalay Bay going to have after parties too? (as it says it's being held at Club PBR) Where is Club PBR going to be located in Mandalay Bay, by the way? |
